Minnesota Elks Youth Camp
The Minnesota Elks Youth Camp is a co-ed camp for deserving youth of Minnesota, ages nine through thirteen. Campers experience a fun week of swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, hiking, nature, team building, campfire skits/shows, rock climbing, archery, carnival games, team games, and much, much more.
North Alexander Park
Faribault’s largest park, North Alexander is situated on the Cannon River’s north side and is home to multiple playground structures, softball fields and picnic areas. Next to Bruce Smith Field, Faribault Aquatic Center and the Rice County Fairgrounds.
Open Gym
Open gym is offered at three different facilities operated by the City of Faribault Parks and Recreation. Open gym provides the place and space to shoot hoops, play pick up volleyball games and burn off energy.
Open Skate
When not in use by local hockey teams, the Faribault Ice Arena is available to the public for open skating. Bring your own or rent skates for a small fee. Concessions usually available.
Open Swim
Open gym and swim is great way to spend Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Typically runs from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Entrance fee is $3 per person. Check with the Faribault Community Center for special Gym and Swim events or cancellations.

Rising Stars Volleyball League
This program focuses on improving the fundamental skills of volleyball.
River Bend Nature Center
Experience the great outdoors within the city limits at River Bend Nature Center. Multiple hiking trails take you through prairie, woodland and wetland habitats. Check out the “floating bridge”, natural amphitheater or explore the Straight River’s picturesque “bend.”
