Faribault Aquatic Center
Awarded the “best municipal swimming pool” by Southern MN Scene, the Faribault Aquatic Center has enough water activities to keep all ages going for hours. Youth will love the waterslides, lily pad walk, water basketball and climbing wall. Younger youth will enjoy the interactive water features. Parents will love the zero entry poolside, loungers and shaded canopies. Remember to bring your sunscreen!
Faribault BMX
From the moment that the starting gate slams down you and up to seven other racers blast at a full sprint toward the first obstacle, BMX racing will give you that rush of adrenaline you've been looking for. Big jumps can mean big air. Steep backsides, deep turns, and downhill sections can add up to massive speeds.
Frisbee Golf Course
Wapacuta (pronounced WAH-PAH-KOO-TA) is nestled in the south-central part of town. A favorite spot for local disc golf enthusiasts, Wapacuta boasts a 9-hole course.

Girls Scouts of River Valleys
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Troop meetings vary. Girls perform community service, engage in fun activities, learn new skills and meet new friends. Not to mention the vests and badges! Families need to register their young ones online in order to be placed with a troop in the Faribault area.
Ice Skating and Hockey Rinks
Looking for an outdoor ice skating or hockey experience, check out the rinks at Jefferson! The warming house provides a break from the cold and a cozy spot to put on your skates. With floodlights on at night, you can skate into the evening. And the best part? It’s FREE!
Maple Syrup Fun Run and Pancake Brunch
Every year River Bend partners with Shattuck St. Mary's to bring people out to run up to 50k (with various distances) timed by a jumbo clock. There is a community pancake brunch afterwards.
Minnesota Elks Youth Camp
The Minnesota Elks Youth Camp is a co-ed camp for deserving youth of Minnesota, ages nine through thirteen. Campers experience a fun week of swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, hiking, nature, team building, campfire skits/shows, rock climbing, archery, carnival games, team games, and much, much more.
