Minnesota Honor Society
The Minnesota Honor Society is a program established to recognize outstanding high school students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character. Members of the Faribault chapter lead and participate in a variety of service projects that benefit their school and community.
Prom Committee
Students plan prom evening, color scheme, theme, flowers, music, meal; sell tickets and fundraise.
Ruth’s House Volunteering
Ruth's House is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women and children escape abusive home situations. Volunteers can help in a variety of ways, like childcare, reception, handywork, contractors, committee members, student internships, transportation, and graphic design/IT support.
STOPS (Students Together Offering Peer Support)
STOPS is a volunteer student organization that engages high school aged youth in service work at sites like Ruth's House, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Croix Hospice and Infants Remembered in Silence. This program promotes civic engagement, leadership and volunteerism among students.
Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program is just that: reading that leads to fun prizes at the library. There are also crafts and other activities, as well as Fun Fridays, scheduled performances and activities at the library.
Teen Advisory Board
Meetings are once a month.
