Annually, the PCA provides several opportunities for youth to explore the world of theatre arts. Experiences range from pretend play for pre-schooler to full productions for school-aged children. Check out our website for upcoming events!
Crafty Mondays
Crafty Mondays offers weekly craft sessions Mondays from 5 – 6:30 over the summer. Children & teens will start and finish a beautiful take-home masterpiece featuring one or more artistic medium. Each craft also includes an art talk and light snack. Let your child experience the arts in a real studio!
Faribault High School Theater Troupe
The theatre arts program at Faribault Public High School is dedicated to provide the opportunity for students of all ages and class to explore, discover, and understand the crafts and art of theatrical imagination and production; and for students to gain insights into the uniqueness of the human condition; culminating in a public presentation through various theatrical performance styles and artistic production forms.
Faribault Middle School Theatre Troupe
The Faribault Middle School Theater Troupe is a program where middle school students can learn what being a part of a theater program is all about. From acting and singing to set design and lights/sound, there are many different opportunities for any and all interests and ability levels.
Faribault Ukulele Network (F.U.N.)
Ukulele jam sessions for players 16+. Must bring a ukulele to play at each meeting. This ukulele group does not provide beginner's lessons. It's a group that gets together to play songs. Some singing is involved although not required. We usually learn a few new chords and strumming patterns at each session and are learning how to play together as a group with various skill levels. This group is currently not set up to perform for audiences and you must be a member to attend the sessions.
Little Falcons Extracurricular Activities
Faribault Public Schools is proud to partner with area youth programs and sports associations to offer intro level experiences for FREE. By offering a variety of sports and arts "samplers", youth can try out a new activity without the commitment of signing up for a months long program or joining a formal team.

Rice County History Camp
Education and outreach is the best way to share the rich history of Rice County and we do that through History Camp (offered annually in June), one-room school and log cabin experiences for youth, school tours, public programs and workshops, among other activities and Hands-On fun. Students get a chance to step back in time to Rice County to when we became a state and learn about the fur trade, pioneer life, games, crafts, and even light cooking of recipes from another time.Scholarships are available.
Studio of Stars
Studio of Stars offers high kick and jazz classes for ages 2.5-18.
