This program helps adults improve basic academic skills to learn English, earn a GED, prepare for college, support their children financially and educationally, and gain skills to find employment in today's job market.

College Ambitions Start Today (CAST)
CAST is a high school leadership and college-access program aimed at supporting students in their post-high school goals. Students who participate in CAST will have access to academic support, test preparation assistance, volunteer opportunities, and college exploration activities.
Credit Recovery Program
This is a program designed to get students back on track for graduation with the credits they need.
Early Childhood Screening
Minnesota law requires all children to be screened prior to school enrollment. Age three is the recommended age for this health and developmental screening. 3 Reasons to Screen at age 3: Early screening can help set your child up for success in school Any health or learning concerns can be found earlier—and help provided sooner. Because screening is FREE, it’s easy and it’s good for your child!
Faribault Community School: Faribault Middle School
The Faribault Community School at the Middle School includes classes and activities for youth, adults and families. Monday - Thursday, after school clubs are offered to middle school students from 2:45-4:30pm. Clubs include sports, art, digital art, cooking, NASA space challenge, science experiments, River Bend outdoor explorers.
Faribault Community School: Jefferson Elementary
The Faribault Community School at Jefferson includes classes and activities for youth, adults and families. A meal is served each day at 4:30 p.m. followed by program offerings like youth clubs, classes for adults, art projects, homework help, health services, early childhood programs and parent education on Mondays and Wednesdays.
McKinley Preschool
For children ages 3-5 who need an extra boost to be ready for Kindergarten the next fall. Two or three day per week classes are held either morning or afternoon from September through May. The children will do activities together under the direction of an Early Childhood teacher and learn important skills needed in Kindergarten. This Program emphasizes social development in a literacy rich environment that promotes pre-reading and pre-math skills. There is a monthly fee to attend. A sliding fee scale reduces the fee for qualifying children.

RISE (Realizing Individual Student Excellence)
RISE is committed to serving Faribault’s students and working with the wider community to ensure that a bright future is open to all. Through academic advising, social-emotional support and family outreach, RISE works to keep 9th - 12th grade high school students on track for graduation.
